School Supply Lists (2026-2027)

Students are expected to have pencils, pens, paper, and tissues every day in every class. Grades 10-12 do not receive a supply listing but may use the Grade 9 list for reference. These lists were last updated in July 2026.

Grade 7-8 Supply List 

General Supplies:    

  • Pencils and erasers (a year’s supply)
  • Pens - blue or black ink (a year’s supply)
  • Colored pencils - 1 package of 8 or 12
  • Loose leaf paper
  • Hand-held pencil sharpener
  • Ruler
  • 3 x 5 index cards - 2 packages
  • One box of tissues for each class
  • Headphones or Earbuds (standard auxiliary connection)

English 7 & English 8:

  • A 1- or 2-inch binder with 5 dividers
  • Highlighter
  • Post-it notes 

Math 7 and Accelerated Math 7: 

  • Scientific calculator, Texas Instrument TI30XIIS recommended
  • Pocket folder
  • 1-inch purple binder

Science 7:

  • A binder with 3 dividers
  • 2 packs of sharpened pencils
  • 2 boxes of tissues

Accelerated Science 7:

  • Binder (1- or 2-inch)

Social Studies 7:

  • Two composition notebooks (no spiral bound)
  • One pocket folder

Spanish 1A (Ms. Galbraith):

  • A one-pocket folder

English 8:

  • A 1- or 2-inch binder with 5 dividers
  • Highlighter
  • Post-it notes 

Math 8:  

  • Scientific calculator - Texas Instrument TI30XIIS
  • Pocket folder
  • A 1-inch purple binder

Math 8 Accelerated: 

  • School-issued iPad
  • 1-inch binder

Science 8:   

  • Binder (1- or 2-inch)

Living Environment:

Special Area Classes Supply List 

Agriculture Grade 7/Grade 8:

  • Plastic Pocket folder

Art Grade 8:

  • Students will be provided with a sketch book
  • No. 2 pencils (not mechanical) and eraser

Computer Applications Technology 7:

  • Pocket folder
  • Auxiliary or Bluetooth earbuds

Family and Consumer Science (FACS) Grade 7:

Health 7:

Physical Education, Grades 7-8

All Students are REQUIRED to have sneakers for every Physical Education class. Students will not be allowed to participate if sneakers are not worn. Crocs, slides, cowboy boots, Hey Dudes, etc. will result in your child sitting out of class for the day and not receiving class credit. We do have a small supply of gently used sneakers to borrow. We recommend athletic clothing. Please bring stick antiperspirant or deodorant only.  

Students will be issued a combination lock to use in the middle school locker rooms. ONLY SCHOOL ISSUED locks may be used. A $5 fee will be charged for lost/damaged locks.

Swimming Students will be swimming during the winter months.  Girl’s one-piece swimsuits are mandatory. Girls that wear a two-piece suit will be required to wear a T-shirt or tank top as well.

Grade 7-8 Band Students (Mr. McAfee)

Supplies

  • Saxophone and clarinet students: Box of VanDoren strength 3 reeds
  • Brass students: Fully synthetic valve oil (Hetman, Yamaha, etc) 
  • Instrument cleaning kit (mouthpiece swabs, instrument swabs- packages are available)
  • Percussion: Vic Firth SD1 Snare Drum Sticks

Instrument Maintenance

Be sure to have your instrument repaired or at least maintained this summer. Woodwinds may need new pads or corks. Brass instruments may need an acid bath. LOCKS: during the first week of PE class, students will be assigned an individual lock & locker. 

  • Only school-issued locks may be used.
  • Lost or damaged locks will result in a $5 replacement fee.

PE Attire

  • Students are encouraged to change into athletic clothing (shorts, sweatpants, T-shirts, athletic tops, etc.) for comfort and hygiene.
  • Athletic sneakers are REQUIRED for every Physical Education class. Students wearing Crocs, slides, sandals, boots, Hey Dudes, slip-on shoes, or any other non-athletic footwear will not be permitted to participate due to safety concerns and will not receive class credit for that day.
  • We have a limited supply of gently used sneakers available for students to borrow if needed.
  • Students are encouraged to keep stick deodorant in their locker. (Sprays and body sprays are not permitted.)

SWIMMING: Students will be swimming during winter months. Students must bring their own swimsuits and towels!
